Then & Now ~ Simo Gabela

Then it was:
Giggles dirty clothes colds on hot days
lollipops dirty hands "don't play in the mud"
uncombed hair tantrums in the mall
"watch out for the boogie-man"

Now it is:
nobody gets me
"mom don't come into my room"
oh damn she loves me back
getting high on life
how did I get home?

I hope I'll be a better adult

  1. The details in this are perfect.

  2. I remember this transition well. These are hard years, and you have spilled them beautifully with your words.

  3. How I love this look at then and now!
