Sonnet in 13 Lines ~ Grace Smythe

Deep, deep is thy tender love that springs out
from a time ticking true heart, only
two wrists combined does it hold immeasurable
amounts of the sweetest untouchable substances.

The pure love that fills my heart is all
for you. This love is an ever-growing evergreen,
sprouting and blossoming daily. It's rooted steadfast
in the two wrists combined heart of mine.

And so always know that this love is eternal
love, love that will never leave you.
It is true , it is pure, it is forgiving.

And that is why I will always love
Be it year, be it season, be it month or day.

  1. I so like the metaphor of love as an ever-growing evergreen, sprouting and blossoming.
