If I Should Die ~ Lusanda Mhlongo

If I should die think only this of me

silence and shyness
was the exact opposite of me
I said what I like
and my spoke my mind

I was human
but I could think and do beyond human
I couldn't fly but I did much greater things
was I loyal?
was I trustworthy?
without a doubt I was a good friend

When days are dark I thought of light
Because life is too short to cry and sulk
Although I was very short in height
My presence will forever remain big and bright

I loved to sing and hated to dance
My body will die but my soul will be forever alive
singing and dancing
if I should die think only of the joy I had towards you
goodbye for now
