I am heartless
I am cold
and unbelieving
I am guarded
I am untrusting

I am as brusque
as I am charming
unshockable
pessimistic
as cool as ice-water
I am heartless

I had one once
a stupid thing
it broke
and there
I left it

Now I am heartless
I am faithless
I am Godless
and alone

I am unafraid
for what is there to fear?
-what else can I lose?
