In the bushes it hisses
And in water it swims
Its skin is slimy and
Slippery,
Desperately it looks for prey.
With its black tongue
The snake aggressively and powerfully
Taunts its enemy
Hoping to scare it to death instead of killing it
Next thing you know! It gives one of its dangerous kisses.

The Snake ~ Nomonde Ngamu
In the middle of the night
You magically slide in the bushes
Roughly hissing your tail, slowly
Searching for your next meal, sadly you
Devour your victim.
I saw lots of your spoor around
The bushes; they say beauty lies in
The patterns of your skin and in
Your slow sliding.
O what an horrific reptile you are
YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN LORD OF LIZARDS.

The Monster of the Amazon ~ Sinqobile Dlamini
What is this monster of the Amazon?
Where did it come from?
Well I only have a answer for one of the questions
This monster is the ANACONDA!
The good thing about this monster is that it can hug
BUT while hugging you can hear your bones crush bits by bits
And with its small head it can still swallow you hole
If I am correct it opens its mouth about 8cm wide
And it swallows you bit by bit
SHOWING NO MERCY ON YOU AT ALL!

Nhlakanipho Magasela ~ Two Poems
I was Bitten
In the trees of birds
Slithery and sticky as Satan
A snake is my rival opponent, adversary, enemy
Danger
Dangerously the snake slides away
It was black as coal
Just as it slid and rattled its tail
It turned back and looked at me
Just then it moved towards me and attacked me
It left me with a mouth that can’t say any words
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Trespassers
In our beautiful city
Stood our beautiful twin towers
As the people in the city were proud
Trespassers
Suddenly I saw planes going to our towns
As it was in the dark sky
People ran in fear to cry for their loved ones
Boom the pale went
It crashed into the beautiful twin towers as they collapsed
The city lost its electricity
