The Meet ~ Marlize van der Merwe

At first he was a stranger.
He didn't know what to say.
Two smiles just crossed the room
Not a word to say.
Silence.
Every second felt like forever
And forever felt like a second
Words were thrown out with no worries

They felt like enemies
Turning into loved ones.
The more they spoke
The closer he moved in.

One simple look turned into a kiss.
They exchanged a
Sweet. Flawless. Real. Kiss

No words were said after.
Only stares were left off.
The two were silent
They felt like eternal friends,
That can't be broken apart.
Not now
Not ever.

The two become strangers once again
Were never found.
She felt lost
She felt alone
She felt like no one could ever replace him
Not even her boyfriend.

The Day I Stopped Wearing Black ~ Varisha Jugamohan

I wore black and you wore blue
We are opposites that’s true
I have seen many colours, but blue is my favourite
That’s because you’re a true blue.
Blue is the colour of the sea and sky
Everything seemed to lie, because my world used to be black and white
Until you became the highlighter of my life.
You were the paint that adorned those mundane walls which held me hostage
You even painted a window to let sunshine in.

I was terrified to be apart
One drop of paint landed on my empty heart
Which was your reminder that you would never leave me.
I didn’t notice how consumed I was by my addiction of you
Until I stopped wearing black and started wearing blue..

I wore blue and you wore blue
You swore love and I swore forever
Opposites no more
As true love stood by our side forevermore.

The Sorrowful Breaking Point ~ Marlize van der Merwe

When is breaking point needed?
You feel like breaking and shouting
You feel like your anger is slowly building
Ready to explode
Not with angry words being let out
But with tears
Your anger can not be let out with words
Nor with silence
Dropping as a acid firm
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Hitting the closest would surface
Building the acid tears into a pool
A sorrowful acid pool

It is done
The damage is done
The breaking point is complete
Broken inside but fixed out
The final hurting point has come
